Sing at 10 am Mass on Sunday
Practice at 9:15 am Sunday (you don’t need a degree in music to sing)
Eucharistic Minister
Must be confirmed, attend mass regularly, and married in the church if married
Must take course through the Diocese
Serve at Mass and/or take communion to Shut-ins
Faith Formation Teachers or Aide
Must take Virtus 3 hr. program and keep up on bulletins

Anyone over 60 is commissioned by Fr. Joe and given a cross and prayerbook to pray for parish each day
Music
Join youth Music Ministry. Come join us as we play at the 10 am Mass each Sunday. All high school and young adults (or old) are invited to play at Mass with us. We practice on Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8 pm. We need more musicians and a lot of singers. Honor Jesus with your special talent and you will be rewarded a hundred fold. A song is a prayer twice said.
Outreach to the elderly
- Telephone Homebound
- Call homebound once a week to see if ok and give news of parish
- Run errands or give ride to Mass
- Help people who can’t get out
- Deliver Shut-in gifts
- Take gifts to shut-ins at Christmas & Easter
- Visit those in hospital, shut-ins or nursing homes
Parish Council
Meets once a month. Ther are four members chosen each year (3 Lakewood, 1 Panama) for 3 year term. Names of potential candidates should be given to Fr. Joe if interested
Parish Picnic Volunteer
Picnic usually held in August
Pro-Life Committee
Pray at Life Chain, Pro-Life Walk
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Make prayer shawl for homebound – meet once a month.
Welcoming Committee
Visit or call new families
Youth Ministry
Young adults and adults to chaperone youth activities
