faith formarion for all
Sunday's gospel: Transfiguration is a common occurrence in families. When we commit to another, such as a spouse in marriage or a child in parenting, we are not committing to them only as they are today, but to the person they are becoming. Let us pray that parents, especially those raising children, will see the importance of fidelity and responsibility to the children they are parenting and the spouse they are committed to as they all grow to be a happy, healthy and holy family. We pray to the Lord….

"GO AND TEACH ALL NATIONS"
Our Religious Education program is always looking for people who would like to lend their talents by teaching the young people of our parish. What a wonderful way to share your faith – instructing children and teens. It is not a difficult task. Our books and resource materials practically plan classes for you. If assistance is needed, we are there to help. Anyone who is 18 or older, has been confirmed, and practices their faith by attending Mass and receiving the sacraments regularly, is welcome to teach. Please call the parish office to discuss becoming a Religious Education educator

The Philosophy of the Religious Education Program
The staff of Sacred Heart’s Religious Education Program believes that they are an integral part of the parish community whose mission is to communicate the teachings and values of Jesus to the young people of our times. Led by the Word of God and inspired by the Holy Spirit, we strive to build attitudes and decision-making abilities that reflect gratitude for the gift of life in ourselves and others. We teach our students that we are a worshipping, Sacramental people, nourished by the Eucharist, striving together to more perfectly love God, others and ourselves. Our goal is to build strong Catholic Christians for now and the future. Our philosophy reflects our belief that we are God's people, deeply loved
